FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
The decisive factor is not the unit quantity alone, but the project value: the one-time development costs must be amortized over the production series. As a rough guideline, a custom development usually becomes worthwhile from a project or annual volume in the low six-figure range – 10 high-value devices can make more sense than 1,000 low-cost items. In an initial consultation, we provide a free assessment of whether a development project is economically viable for your specific case.
Yes – this is one of our core strengths. Based on an already developed device, we can quickly derive variants for different power classes, voltage ranges, or form factors instead of starting from scratch every time. This allows customers to benefit from proven and tested circuit concepts with shorter development times.
We develop in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 and meet the standards required for the respective application – including EN 50155 for railway technology as well as EMC and grid connection standards. For new, customer-specific standard requirements, we familiarize ourselves with the relevant specifications on a project-by-project basis.
We cover the entire process internally: circuit development, PCB layout, mechanical design, and series production – without external interfaces. This shortens coordination paths and enables fast, seamless project implementation.
We develop power electronics and control technology primarily for industry and mechanical engineering, railway and vehicle technology, as well as renewable energies. Typical products include DC-DC converters, battery chargers, and motor controllers.
From the initial concept idea to the prototype, series production, and long-term support – everything comes from a single source. We start with a technical requirements analysis, develop a tested prototype, and transfer it into series production.
